A client scheduled with me for “12:00pm - Friday, November 22, 2024 (Eastern Time - US & Canada)” however, when they received a meeting invite, it says “Friday Nov 22, 2024 ⋅ 5pm – 5:30pm (Coordinated Universal Time).” This led to meeting cancellation and confusion for both of us.

My Outlook calendar that my scheduling page synced to has the proper time zone, as does my Calendly account itself.

Hi @Marisellia31450

Thanks for reaching out about this. Sometimes this can happen with calendar invitations. In this case, Calendly searches to find the invitee's local time zone, but sometimes cannot locate it or receives conflicting information. When this happens, the timezone on the invitation defaults to UTC. This is especially common with invitees who use Hotmail, Yahoo or AOL email addresses.

If you notice a lot of invitees are having problems with this, switching to Email Confirmations in the event type settings can be a great solution. This article provides more of a background on this. Let me know if you have any questions! Calendly invitee notifications
