Question

Multiple email platforms and addresses using one calendly

I have 2 outlook calendars and 2 google calendars that I need to all sync to one calendly, I am struggling to get them all linked. I need to make sure my availability on calendly is reading all 4 calendars so I’m not double booked.

Hi @Bobtidalpointe - Thanks for reaching out.

What seems to be going on? Are you getting an error when attempting to connect them? Is it just one of them thats giving you an issue? Let me know!

I can take a closer look into it from there.

I just joined a company that uses calendly to book appointments. My personal calendly allows me to add all 4 email/calendar accounts (2 google and 2 outlook) with no problem. However, the company calendly account that was sent to me to use, that is tied to two other colleagues’ calendars, will not allow me to add the other 4 email/calendar accounts to appropriately scan my full availability. I’m wondering if this is an issue with the company account and how to fix. I have to be tied to their calendly, and cannot just use my personal.

As long as its a paid account, you should be able to connect up to six calendars at one time. Are you seeing any sort of error on the connections page?

Alternatively, you can reach out to our support team who can start a screenshare to take a much closer look - They’ll be able to find out more about whats going on! :)

Best place to reach them is through the chatbot in your account, or by emailing support@calendly.com

Let me know if you have any questions.

Do you think that perhaps they already have 6 connected between the two of them and that is the issue? Or can each user have up to 6?

Each individual user can have 6 calendars connected. So they shouldn’t be taking up any of your slots as long as they’re separate from your account.

I think they have one company account with all 3 of us as users. So I’m assuming that would mean we can have a total of 6 calendars connected between the 3 of us.

Interesting - Yes in this case if you 3 are sharing an account, you would have to keep in mind that any calendars connected would apply to all of the events under the account. There is not a way to set which specific events check which calendars.

It would be better for the team to have individual accounts, this way you wouldnt have to worry about the calendars that are connected, and any overlaps from other events.
