Hello there,

I am new to this community. I’ll tell you my problem. I wish you could help me out.

I recently added Calendly to my website. It works just fine and I am happy with it. The thing is, when one of my invitees books an event with me, they get a confirmation email. In this email there’s a cancellation and reprogram link in case they need to modify their booking, but the link does not work. When they click on it, it leads them straight to a “page not found. 404” website. On the other hand, it does allow me to cancel them from my Google Calendar app.

Does anyone know why this happens and therefore fix it?

Hi @Raquel21014!

I’ve heard of this happening before and it usually has something to do with the security features of the email service the recipient is using or a network issue blocking the link (sometimes common at higher security companies, educational settings, etc.). Do you know if this is happening across all of your events or with specific customers?

Let us know!

Hi @jillian

Sorry it’s taken me so long to reply but it’s been a busy week .

I don’t really know. It’s only one customer who told me a few days ago he couldn’t cancel his booking because of the 404 error I mentioned above. It works just fine on my side when I try to cancel the event myself.

I’ll keep an eye on it and will come back to you if the problem persists because for me it’s quite important that my customers can cancel their bookings if they need to.

Thanks!!!
