My redirect link is flagged as suspicious - how to fix this?

Hi everyone,

I'm having trouble setting up a redirect to a thank you page after someone books a meeting on my Calendly. I want to redirect them to a page on my website with next steps, but I'm getting a "suspicious link" warning.

Here's what I've tried:

  • Option 1: Redirect to a subdomain 
  • Option 2: Redirect to my main domain 

Both options result in the same error (see attached screenshot).

I've checked my Calendly redirect settings, and the URL is correct. I've also verified my SSL certificate, and it seems to be fine. Could this be an issue with my DNS records or something else entirely?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hi @Hopeful44171!

Hmm. So we check redirects like this against a big database of sites and it looks like for some reasons, yours is on that list! More on that process here. Common reasons includes malware, being hacked, being flagged as misleading, etc. I’d probably go try to find out why your site is on that list and see if/how to fix. I wish I could tell you exactly how, but my searches aren’t coming up with anything super helpful unfortunately.

@jillian thank you for replying. This is a big problem for me, so I’ll end my subscription with Calendly and move somewhere else. Such a shame, because I enjoyed Calendly for years.
