Currently, Calendly doesn’t offer a built-in feature to send automated reminders to clients who haven’t booked a meeting after receiving a unique link. The reminder functionality is designed for events that are already scheduled.
However, you can achieve similar results through the following methods:
-
Email Marketing Integrations: Use integrations with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp, HubSpot, or ActiveCampaign. Set up an automated email campaign that triggers a follow-up if a client doesn’t book a meeting within a specified timeframe.
-
Zapier Automation: Utilize Zapier to create a custom workflow. You can set up a trigger to check if the meeting is booked and send a follow-up email if not.
-
Manual Follow-Ups: Set reminders in your calendar or task management tool to manually follow up with clients who haven’t booked their meeting.
I also recommend submitting a feature request to Calendly’s support team if you think this feature would be beneficial. They regularly review user feedback to enhance their platform.

Hi @Olivier67787,
This is an interesting idea. I will make sure the product team sees this post and considers the feature you are describing. I suspect if we don’t have someone’s email/phone number captured, which for privacy reasons must be willingly disclosed by the invitee, that there is little we can do. If this feature accepted though, I’ll return to this post and update everyone.
Hi Waqas and Sean.
Thanks for your replies.
- Waqas : I will look fot those new applications. However, I would love to have it in Calendly, directly. I would be soooo much simplier!
- Sean : It would be very useful to have it directly in Calendly (if it is possible to do so ==> saying that, if we enter the name/email/phone number in our ‘’contacts list’’, would it be ok to send those reminders, for privacy reasons?)
Thanks for the follow-up. Have a great day!
Olivier
