When trying to modify the template for an email reminder -- the variables don’t seem to be inserted where I want them.  I click and drag them to the right spot but when saved and I look again, the variable is no longer highlighted.  There isn’t a way to send a test to myself to ensure it’s correct.

 

so, how do i correctly change the template.  And can I set my new version to be default?  

I’ve tried this both in the set up of a new event as well as within workflow.

As far as testing goes, right now I advise booking the event with yourself so the workflow is sent to you directly. :)

Talking about editing the Workflow - you can also add them manually by typing {{VARIABLE NAME HERE}}, then it will populate with with what you’d like. (For example {{event_date}} adds the event date to the workflow)

While you can’t set a new default, you can clone previous workflows and edit them from there:
