I changed my company name and brand. I updated my logo and put a new .png file. However when I send a client my link to my calendar via text my old logo continues to show up. Also when you hove the mouse curser over a link to my calendar it also show the old log/brand image.  I cant find any setting in calendly that still has my old logo. I removed my current logo multiple times and readded it. Still the long log shows. Any idea what I can do:?

Hi @Merced62585!

Hmm. It sounds like you might be seeing a cached version which is basically when your internet browser stores elements to help webpages load faster later on. Here’s a few things to try:

  • Access your account from a different computer or browser than you normally use. For example, if you normally use Chrome but have Safari - try Safari. Does the logo still show up wrong there?
  • Clear the cache on your browser. If you search for ‘clear cache’ and the name of your browser, you should find relevant instructions quick!
  • Re-upload your logo file with a slightly different name (perhaps add v2?) as this will show up a new file for the cache.

Let us know if this helps. If not, we’ll keep at it with you!

Hi @jillian
I’m experiencing the same issue. I attempted all 3 steps, but no luck. May I kindly have some help please?

Thanks in advance!

Hi @jillian

I’m experiencing the same issue. I’ve executed each of your suggested bullet points, however, the issue of the old logo showing up when I send an invite in the LinkedIn messaging link still persists.

Calendly Branding Page (Current Logo)
LinkedIn Messaging (Old Logo)

May I kindly have your help to resolve?

Thanks in advance!

Hey @Merced62585 and @Todd77 -- thanks for posting!

Depending on how/where you are sharing your link, this might actually be due to a known issue with an easy fix! Please see below:

When sharing via Facebook or LinkedIn, you can input your link in the network’s debugger tool. This essentially will re-scrape the links and update them across the network. The only caveat is Twitter. They don’t have a debugger tool, but their docs do provide a solution (also shared below)!

LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/post-inspector/inspect/

Facebook: https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/sharing/

Twitter: Twitter Card Validator - “Our web crawlers re-index the Card tag information on your page roughly every week.” You can provide users with this link: https://developer.twitter.com/en/docs/tweets/optimize-with-cards/guides/troubleshooting-cards.html#refreshing

Note: It can take a few minutes for updated link preview/meta information to flow through to the validators. If you've made a change, wait at least 2 (and sometimes up to 10) minutes before testing in a validator in order to see results.

Go ahead and try these steps and let me know if they work. 🙂 This almost always solves the problem. Have a great day!

@Kelsi at Calendly ,
Thanks for this information. The LinkedIn debug solution worked :)

Best and thanks,

Todd
