Hi - I have 2 offices where clients book appointments. I created an event with the option of choosing Location A or Location B. The problem is, if someone books for an 8am spot at Location A, then the 8am spot at Location B isn’t open (to avoid double booking).

What can I do about this?

Do I need 2 Calendly accounts? If I add Team members, can this problem be avoided?

Thanks! Crys

Hey there @Fit03445 - great question! I’m sorry for this frustration - but yes - there is a workaround!

Firstly - you are right! Because Calendly sees each account as an individual user, it will not allow overlapping Calendly events in an effort to prevent double bookings. However, we do have a Group Event Type that will allow multiple invitees to book the same time slot on one event type (this is not the solution for your current issue but might be great info down the line!).

As to whether or not adding team members will resolve this - yes! You can set up a team page that includes multiple users that are actually your alternative email addresses. Then, create a round robin event type between your accounts so invitees can continue scheduling for the same time slot as long as one account has availability. Instead of a Round Robin event type, you can also simply set up one of your event types in your current account and one of them in the secondary account once you’ve added it. There are options! Keep in mind, you will have to pay for each additional user. You can read more about our plans, pricing and features on our Pricing Page! Note: an annual subscription will result in a 20% discount for all paid plans!

I hope this helps! If you have any questions about this let us know! We are so happy to help!
