Phone Call event not enforcing required phone number

Hi everyone,

I’m facing an issue with a Phone Call event type.

Here’s my setup:

  • Event Type: One-on-One (30 minutes)

  • Location: Phone Call

  • Under “How will you get in touch?” I selected “Require invitee’s phone number”

  • No custom phone question added under Invitee Questions

  • Tested in Incognito mode

However, invitees are still able to book the meeting without entering a phone number.

Additional details:

  • The event shows a “Select location” dropdown

  • Only Phone Call appears selected in settings

  • The required phone option is enabled (see screenshot)

Has anyone experienced this? Is there a hidden setting that overrides the phone requirement?

Hi @Dev04137 - Sorry to hear this is going on!

Can you send me a video of what the booking process looks like for you? I can’t get this to reproduce on my end so I’d like to get a video over to my team is possible.

We can assist further from there!

Here as you can see, the phone code has been auto selected and when I dont enter phone number, it still schedules the phone call meeting.

Hey @Dev04137 !

I’m happy to confirm that this has now been fixed. The required phone number field will no longer accept the default country code alone, and invitees must enter a valid phone number in order to complete their booking. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention and thank you again for your patience while we worked through it.

Let me know if you run into anything else. :)

Thanks @David for the update and for fixing this so quickly. I’ve tested it and the validation works perfectly now.

Appreciate the support. I’ll reach out if anything else comes up.
