Currently, we can go in and alter our timeframe availability for specific dates which I love. The challenge is we can’t customize specific dates further regarding location options. For instance, I work in-person every day so my medical students can choose to meet with me in person or via Zoom. However, there are a couple days a month that I work remotely and I don’t want the in person location option to be available when they book those specific dates, just the Zoom. I try to always keep an eye on it and email the students to notify them that I can only meet via Zoom on that specific date and offer to reschedule if they prefer in person, or I’ll send them the Zoom link. The added challenge, however, is students sometimes schedule the night before and I log in remotely to find a student expected to be able to meet with me in person that morning.

I would like to propose an update that would allow us to alter location options for specific dates when we need to make an exception to our standard schedule/availability much like we can do for our working hours already.

Thank you!

Katie

Hi @Katie Harden - Thanks for making a post about this!

I think you make a great point, this is something a lot of customers have brought up before. I’ve gone ahead and sent this over to our product team for them to review!

Right now what you have is the best way to go about it - Alternatively, some users will create two different event types, one for remote work, another for in-person and offer both on their landing page or send both of them to the customer. But I can see how beneficial it would be to make it available through a single event.

Let me know if you have any other questions or ideas!

This would be an awesome addition to calendly! I find we often want to make different times for a type of meeting available if people are in specific locations :)
