Question

rescheduling problem

When I reschedule a booked meeting with a client out of nowhere it is acting as if it is the client rescheduling it.  I’m not given the option to update the timezone to client timezone and the confirmation email for the reschedule says rescheduled by the client and not me.  Any idea why this would be happening or how to fix it?  Thank you for any help with this!

Hi @Holli05572 - Thanks for reaching out.

Can you tell me more about how this was rescheduled? Was this rescheduled directly through your Calendly account or is this done through the reschedule link inside of the Calendar event? If you have any screenshots of the change and what its showing, let me know!

It doesn’t do it in the app.  It’s only on the website which is weird.   I’m rescheduling it through the specific calendar event.  When I click reschedule it goes to the page where it shows the available new time but it’s doing it as if I’m the client.  It won’t automatically ask to schedule in their timezone like it used to do.  When I change it to eastern time and reschedule the appt the confirmation email says rescheduled by the clients name not mine

Got it - Thanks for sending this over.

Are you signed into Calendly through the website when you use those rescheduling buttons? For some context, the reschedule link will check to see if you are signed in as a host, if not, it will give you the invitee view, which is why this isn’t happening through the app.

One way to test this is by signing in through the website first, then selecting the link. Or if you have a computer, sign in to the web through there, and testing the rescheduling link.

Let me know if this works!
