I am the team manager for our company’s calendly account. I have a team member who is attempting to book an appointment 6 months out from current and when they’re in the calendly override availability it keeps popping up an error message “oops something is wrong” reach out to calendly support. They have booked these appointments before. They primarily use the edge calendly widget, but also tried in the edge internet browser. They have cleared their cache, and restarted the browser with no success in being able to open the override within those future months.

Any ideas what could be causing the error to occur and no open the calendar override availability?

They have also tried logging in and using google chrome, and they get the same error.

Hi @CurtisH - Thanks for reaching out.

Is it possible to get a couple of screenshots of a video of the behavior? I’d like to see if I can reproduce the same steps on my side first - It will also give me a little more insight into the issue at hand.

Let me know!

I can try to get a video/screenshots from my team member. I have already attempted to do the same type of future appointment with my account and I am able to not only access the calendar that far out, but I do not get an error message like my other team member. The error pops up as soon as she selects July 2025. Even before picking a time slot.

Hi @David - Here is a link to the video of the issue. You’ll see she has selected a client, and when she goes to override the appointment and load the month the calendar malfunctions and produces the error. As I mentioned above, I am not getting this issue on my calendar which is separate from her outlook integration.

Error Video

After testing further, I was using a different appointment type. Using the same appointment type I get the exact same error using my account.

Okay thanks for sending all of this over, this does look a little unexpected here. Although can’t seem to reproduce this on my end, so it may be isolated to that event.

Couple things to try if you haven’t already:

  • Can you try using the normal booking page? Does it allow you to book that date?
  • Does this same error occur if you use a different event type?
  • Try extending the date range of the event to ensure it includes that day. Most of the time the date range defaults to 90 days, so extending it may clear that error.

If these don’t work - I’d recommend chatting in with our support team next so they can look into this error, they would have more information on the backend on this specifically. I’d also share the same video you sent me with them so they can have a look.

Let me know if you have any questions.

  • The normal booking page will allow you to book the date, but the override availability is when the calendar starts to throw the error message. So if you select the dropdown and pick a date in July/August etc then the error displays.
  • The error does also occur using different event types.
  • The date range is set to indefinitely so the date we’re looking to book should be possible and be open to be scheduled.

Okay thanks for getting back, I see you put in a request. I’ll keep looking throughout the day to see if I can find anything for you.

I’ll let you know if I find anything.
