How do I solicit and receive a confirmation response from an invitee through email or text?

I see several instances where a text or email message may be sent to an invitee which include links allowing the invitee to reschedule or cancel an appointment. However, I don’t see any way for the invitee to confirm they will be present.  I.e., 24 hours before a scheduled appointment, the invitee receives a text asking them to confirm they will make the meeting. The user's response to confirm, reschedule, or cancel the appointment would be sent via text to the host, as would a message indicating no response.

Hi @Jeff72037!

So some good news and less than good news.

Good news is that there is a pre-built workflow in Calendly that uses a text message to prompt an invitee to reconfirm. The reconfirm itself is web based and the resulting reconfirm will land in your email inbox. More on that workflow here. It’s also important to note that you can edit this workflow to send our the reconfirm however many hours you’d like in advance!

The less than good news is that we can’t send the reconfirm to the host via text, nor is there currently any workflow to let you know they didn’t reconfirm. But I think it’s a fantastic idea - and something I encounter frequently with appointments and reservations - so I’ll be sure to add it to this month’s product feedback list.

Let us know if we can help in any other way!
