Hello everyone. I use Calendly as my work calendar (I’m a psychiatrist and my patients can book their consultation slot online). But a patient told me that when booking her appointment, the confirmation by email indicates a delayed schedule: in short, she took an appointment for 15h, but the confirmation email indicates an appointment for 14h
I work in France and the default time zone on my booking settings is indeed that of Central Europe (so UTC+1)
Thank you to those who can help me!

Hi @Clémence06561!
Thanks for reaching out! Usually when invitees report this, there usually is an issue with the timezone thats configured within their Calendar. Sometimes booked meetings will show up an hour earlier or later depending on their calendar settings.
You can confirm the time and the time zone it was booked in from your Meetings page here - Then have the invitee confirm what their calendar is set to as well.
I would start there for now - But let me know if you have any questions!
Hi David,
Thanks for your help
I checked that the time zone in my settings was correct. It’s okay on my side. Can I block this time zone so that all my patients select this one? Because I can’t contact them all to tell them to select the central europe unfortunately
I did it, it didn’t change anything. The confirmation email postponed the appointment by one hour. Part of the email is in French (description of the event, meeting place, answer to questions) and the other part is in English (time of the appointment and guests) I’m desperate:(
Could you send me a screenshot of how this shows up in the email? It could give me more insight on where this originated from. In the meantime, you can try checking the timezone on the calendar event as well.
Thanks for sharing this - It looks like the timezone defaulted to UTC.
With calendar invitations, Calendly searches to find the invitee's local time zone, but sometimes cannot locate it or receives conflicting information. When this happens, the timezone on the invitation defaults to UTC. As a workaround in the future if this continues to happen, you can try changing the notification to email confirmations:
However in this specific events case, you can try rescheduling the event for the same date and time to see if it corrects the time, or just adjust the Outlook event.
Just to confirm, does it show the correct timezone in Calendly?
