When I set up the calendar, I set a schedule of times and dates that I am available. It worked at first, but when I looked at my calendar this morning, it shows that I am available on days that I´m not, and at times that I´m not.
Is there something I´m doing wrong, or is it something I can fix?
Thanks.

Hey there @John60367 - great question! Firstly, check out our New User Guide - it’ll def prove helpful as you get used to the platform!
You need to set up your availability within Calendly
You will want to set up a connected calendar
You will want to make sure the two are communicating properly
To see why you're free when you should be unavailable: go to your Calendly home page > select "account" and then "calendar connections" > at "check for conflicts" select "edit" > select all calendars that should be checked for conflicts. Make sure Calendly is reading the correct calendar(s)/sub calendar(s) for conflicts.
For example, let’s talk Google Calendar. Calendly will view your Google events with this "busy" event status as scheduling conflicts and will automatically remove the time from your scheduling page (including all-day or multi-day events). To ensure Calendly is picking up your Google events, you can access and change this setting by double-clicking on the event id in your calendar and changing the status from "free" to "busy" as shown below:
I hope this helps!
Thanks for your prompt response. the issue is that I set up the calendar “cas-brown” last week. I went through the availability from December 2023 through June 2024, with specific dates and times when I am available. For example, I blocked 18 December 2023 through 3 January 2024, as unavailable. As of Friday, 15 December, the available times and dates were accurate.
If I look at the “Availability screen, it shows the settings I entered.
Today, when I looked at my booking page, it shows times available throughout those days. The only thing that “took,” was that I´m only available Monday through Friday.
If you could let me know if all of the unavailable times have somehow been lost, and that I have to redo them, that´s OK, but if I´m doing something wrong, please let me know so that I don´t have to do this again in a few days.
Thanks.
Hey @John60367 - thanks so much for this awesome description of what you are seeing!
Firstly - go ahead and check to see that you have actually applied this schedule to the desired event types. Do this by clicking on “availability” > clicking the schedule > clicking the dropdown under “active on” > selecting the ETs you want to apply this availability to > clicking “save.”
Once you’ve done this, check to see if the appropriate availability has updated on your event type. Likewise, I noticed you do have weekly hours selected and input. If you do not wish to be available every week for those hours, go ahead and delete the weekly hours as well and use date specific hours to set hours you are available in addition to hours you are not! My best guess here is that somehow you’ve simply missed applying the schedule to the ET using the “active on” dropdown, and doing so will resolve your issue! I hope this helps!
Worked Perfectly!
I´m not sure how it worked when I first set it up, Perhaps i didn´t notice that it didn´t. All is good now.
Thanks so much for such a prompt reply.
