I’m a teacher using Calendly to allow other teachers to book times for my class. I’ve never encountered this issue in the past couple of years but the first attempt this school year, some of my teachers are getting an error message saying “oops, something went wrong”. I personally witnessed this and attempted to use an incognito window or different browser with no luck. At least two of my teachers experienced this today, while others are fine. Any ideas what might be going on? Thanks in advance for any help!
Hi
That’s super weird. Can you tell me more about the steps leading into seeing the error message? Are they all accessing the event the same way (email link, message link, Calendly landing page)?
It sounds like it’s happening on the school network and I’m wondering if there’s something interfering with how the pages are loading. If we can find a way to replicate this on demand, it’ll make it easier to figure out what and how to fix it.

Thanks for your reply. I sent the same Calendly booking link through email to about 26 different classrooms. To my knowledge, only two had the issue. Everyone is on the same network in the same building. We tried both Chrome and Edge and got the same error. I jumped on my phone and was able to book it for them.
Definitely weird as I’ve never heard this issue in 4+ years of using Calendly. Should it happen again, I’ll try to get a screenshot and any other information I can collect to see if there is a pattern.
Thanks again!

Same two teachers had the same issue today. Both were accessing the same link using their desktop (wired ethernet). I had them try their laptops (wifi) and that worked. I assume this means there’s something on our wired network stopping it, but I’m not sure what to tell our tech guys especially since it’s not happening to anyone else. Any ideas?

Hi
I am certainly no IT expert, but if you have a teacher that always has the same issue and can replicate what I’d have you tell your tech guys to check is Inspect Elements > Console as they queue up that page. Tech guys should know what this means, but it basically tells them when a page is loading what elements are getting blocked from loading, loading with errors, and loading just fine. Solid chance they’ll see something in that list and have an idea on how to fix it!
Hope that helps!
