when I create a meeting, will it block off all of my connected calendars?

At this time, Calendly only adds events to one Calendar at a time, outside of sharing that Calendar via outlook, the best way to do this would utilizing Zapier to trigger Outlook to create a Blocking event whenever a Calendly event is created in your main Calendar. I did some digging and unfortunately it seems that Outlook doesn’t allow for meetings to automatically populate in other calendars at this time either. So Zapier might be the best way to move forward.

Maybe we can move this to a feature request thread. It’s a major challenge for fractional professionals that represent multiple companies and juggling calendars to keep from double booking internal meetings. When a meeting is booked, I basically have to go into each company calendar and manually block it off as “Busy” so internal employees don’t book over a meeting I have with another company. Solve that issue and I’ll become an investor.

Google does allow shared calendars to show as busy which I would have assumed would be picked up by Calendly as blocked out or not available. However my calendar booking page does not seem to know that those shared calendar events exist. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi ​@Cornerpin - In this case, we would need to check your Calendar Connections page. If you have any sub-calendars listed in Gcal, they would need to be selected from this page under Check for Conflicts. You can find this here: https://calendly.com/app/personal/availability/connected_calendars

hey @david - i was also hoping to solve the same challenge that @greg58622 brought up - i’m also fractional and manage 3 company diaries at the moment. i need a way to block times in those other diaries if calendly blocks them. 

another fractional exec suggested using morgen which apparently does this but i’ve enjoyed using calendly to date but may try the other tool if it takes too long to get on the calendly product roadmap. 

i’d also love to be able to choose amongst multiple calendars for calendly to “write” to - instead of just the one primary calendar but that is a secondary ask for me.
