I'm using "email confirmation" for a Round Robin event type and I understand that the calendar title cannot be customized when using this option. From what I know, it should always default to "[Invitee Name] and [Host Name]." However, I've noticed that on my calendar, the title sometimes appears as "[Event Name]: [Invitee Name] and [Host Name]," and other times it shows up as "[Invitee Name]: [Event Name]." Why does it vary for the same exact event type?

“Invitee Name]: :Event Name]”
“iEvent Name]: Invitee Name] and eHost Name]”

Hi @Angelica53827 - Thanks for reaching out about this! Just wanted to clarify a few things:

Are both of these are the events that Calendly is creating and adding to the hosts calendar? Or were you added as a guest to either of these events? Do you see this with any other users in your organization?

You are correct that any event posted to the hosts Calendar should default to tInvitee Name: Event Type Name]. So we’ll need to track down what might of happened with this other event.

Let me know!

Hi David,

Both of these events are created by Calendly and added to the hosts calendar. We send a invitee a single-use link for the RR Event Type. Invitee uses that link to book a meeting.

I don’t believe we’ve noticed this with other users in our organization.

Thanks!

Thanks for getting back @Angelica53827!

I did some digging on my end and was unable to locate anything substantial. At this point, I’d recommend you or the Host of that meeting to contact our Support team, as they would be able to dig into more about the account and the details behind the meeting. They would be the best way to move forward here!

You can contact them directly through your account by selecting the chat bubble OR by using our contact us page:https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
