Hi @Monica M Fochtman!
None of the plans currently do this, but it’s definitely functionality we’ve been asked for and will continue looking into.
In the meantime, 2 things you could look into:
- Using a forwarding filter. This would send notifications from Calendly to your other account.
- Adding your other email address to the event as a guest within your primary calendar tool.
Hopefully we’ll see some new functionality soon!
Thank you for your prompt reply. I appreciate it. Hopefully this functionality will come soon! I LOVE Calendly!!!
Can you show me where/how to add guests? Thank you
Hi @Monica M Fochtman,
In this case, I’d add them to the event itself on your calendar (Google Calendar, Outlook, etc.) just like you’d create/modify an event normally. The reason for this is that the Calendly event sounds like a 1:1 and therefore can’t accept any other invitees - but your calendar invite can!
The only important thing to keep in mind is that the other 6 people will not receive an automated communication such as reminders, follow up, etc. through Calendly so you’ll likely want to set a reminder to do that manually just for this event.
In the future, sounds like a group event would be the right fit for this type of situation. Or you could even consider using a meeting poll to find the right time across the whole group.
If you are looking to add guests to an existing Group Event meeting that is pretty simple. Navigate to the booked meeting in you Meetings area. There you will see a reschedule option. Just reschedule the meeting for the same time as you’ve already booked it and add a note to you invitees that they are getting a notification because you are adding someone to the meeting. At the end of the this process Calendly will prompt you to add guests, if you like. I’m leaving a resource below that better describes this process.
