I’ve been using Professional Calendly for years and I’m still shocked that we can’t set a maximum amount of appointments that can be booked, per day. We can only set a daily limit by appointment TYPE. Not a GLOBAL max appointments per day.

I need 2 max, per day. So I’m constantly having to reschedule clients who book a 3rd slot.

Other than me constantly managing my availability blocks to prevent a 3rd booking - do any fellow Calendly users have any workarounds? I’m this close to cancelling and moving to another platform over constantly having babysit my availability and rescheduling clients.

And yes, I’ve already put in a feature request. For years. Still nothing. It’s such a simple feature and I can’t imagine I’m the only one who has multiple appointment types (I primarily work with only 2 appointment types).

Any suggestions/workarounds would be super helpful. Thank you!

Hi @Jwavz,

I’ve been researching this most of the day and haven’t come up with any silver bullets, whether it be through Zapier or otherwise. The users who have approximated the best success with this have achieved it through various forms of meeting buffers or added a meeting block on their connected calendar once their max meetings have been reached. I realize the first option is imperfect and the second is manual. I’m adding this to the list of product feedback. I will make sure our team reviews this post when they are considering product updates.

Thank you so much @Sean Marlin. I greatly appreciate you taking the time to find a workaround along with offering some suggestions.

I hope to see this feature implemented soon. It’s literally the only problem I have with Calendly. Unfortunately it is just quite disruptive. Everything else is perfect. 🙏

Thanks again!
