When a customer selects a time for a meeting, it add myself and co-host to my calendar but the customer is not included. They receive a separate calendar invite and we aren’t included on that one. If I manually add them to the one that was scheduled on my calendar, they now have 2 calendar entries.
Hi
Thanks for reaching out here! It sounds like you might have Email Confirmations enabled for this event. To change this to Calendar Invitations, you’ll need to go into the event settings, then select Notifications and Workflows, then edit the notification type.
Here, you’ll be able to adjust it from Email Confirmations to Calendar Invitations. With Calendar Invitations, both hosts and the invitee will be included in the event thats added to the calendar.
Once this is changed, make a test booking and let me know if you run into anything else!
Thank you! I made those changes however now I get the email to customer but it doesn’t add it directly to my calendar. If I click “add to google calendar” on bottom of email confirmation called “New Event: xxxxx” it create a new event on my work calendar just with myself. Any ideas there?
Hi - thanks for reaching back out.
You mentioned this is a Collective event, right? Does this event appear on the other hosts calendar at all? Let me know!
Correct Collective. It shows on my and the other host’s calendar. The customer who requested it gets a separate calendar invite with just their name on it. If I add them to mine, they now have 2 on their calendar.
Understood, thanks for checking this
Can you also confirm:
Are your one-to-one events appearing in your calendar?
Are you and the other host using the same calendar provider?
Let me know if you have any other questions!
