Hello Calendly Team,

I started using this service during the pandemic when all of my client meetings were online. Now that I am back on the road, I don’t want to give up on Calendly!

I see about 75 clients throughout my territory, they vary from 5 minutes apart to 4 hours apart. If there were a way to add a unique buffer time before and after a meeting based on clients locations I would be unstoppable.

The way I could see this working is, when a client clicks on the scheduling link they are prompted to enter their address OR I could create a contact that included their address for future bookings. Then based on my most previous meeting location that day they are shown booking options based on meeting length and travel length.

Hoping this feature can be added in the future!

Hi @Leslie1380!

This is a great idea and something I often would like to see myself. I’ll definitely pass it on to the Product team and see what they can do!

In the meantime, I started going down the path of trying to see if I could use Zapier’s automation to grab the address from Calendly, calculate distance/duration with Google Maps, and then create tangible buffers with Google Calendar but got stopped out with the Google Maps API. It’s just not a friendly thing to work with if you’ve got limited API/webhook knowledge.

With all that said, what I personally do right now is use Reclaim.ai to auto-create tangible buffers around any event that has a location. It’s not perfect since I have it set to 30 minutes either side for absolutely everything and often have to adjust my buffers if I know I’ll need more time - but it’s something and it’s saved me a lot of rescheduling.
