I’ve given this feedback to a Calendly representative before but it has not changed and I am hoping that there can be this option added.

I hope I can explain this in a way that is understandable. Currently, Calendly only shows availability exactly 24 hours prior. For example, if a student is looking at my Calendly page to set up an appointment, they can see availability 2 weeks in advance. This is great, but for instance, I have many slots open after 3pm 2 weeks later, but it will not show as available until it’s 3pm TODAY. This has been a HUGE frustration for students and for us advisors since students do not understand that they are not able to see what is actually available until that time comes. At this point, it is out of pure luck if they happen to check the page at a time that shows the availability. And this is not customer oriented.

Prior to using Calendly, we used Microsoft Bookings. It’s clunky but at least students/clients were able to see the availability for the entire day 2 weeks in advance. This made it at least easier for us so we can tell them to check our page early in the morning each day.

PLEASE make this an option for us to make the availability visible for the whole day. If Microsoft can do it, and they aren’t even specialized in calendar management I believe Calendly can do it. Thank you for your consideration :)

Thanks, David, for getting back to me quickly and for forwarding it on to the product team. If you can really make sure my voice is heard, that’ll be awesome. And I am sure I am not the only person who uses Calendly that has the same issue. I’m only saying this because the last person I communicated with said the same thing and nothing has changed in the last 6 months. Please know that this issue has a HUGE impact on our enrollment. If a prospective student/client keeps checking our availability and can never get an appointment, they can get frustrated and give up trying to attend our college altogether.

@MBC We appreciate your feedback. We have a feature that allows you to control how far in advance invitees can schedule. Have you tried adjusting that setting to resolve this issue? In reading your comment, I’m guessing you’ve set this to 2 weeks and that’s why we’re not showing availability beyond that timeframe. 


@TopeA Thank you. I am aware that things don’t show up beyond 2 weeks that I have set. What I am saying is that even when it shows availability, the calendar does not have the option to display the availability for that whole day. Instead, it shows little by little. Please read my initial explanation in detail. I am happy to meet virtually with anyone of your team members to show and explain as needed to get this improved.
