Welcome to the Calendly Community! In this article, we’ll go over what you can expect here.

What to Expect in the Community

The Calendly Community is a place to post questions, start conversations and share ideas about all things Calendly. You can search what others have shared, engage their posts and see exciting new information shared by Calendly staff.

How to Behave in the Community

Calendly Community has members from all backgrounds! Everyone here will have varying levels of knowledge and experience. People might speak different languages, post from different time zones and more. If you haven’t already, please take a moment to view our Community Guidelines, which apply to everyone here (community staff included).

We ask that everyone here makes it a goal to respect and understand the perspectives of others, even if they aren’t the same as your own. We understand that disagreements happen, and we will allow respectful debate and discourse. However, these disagreements need to be resolved respectfully and constructively.

Additionally, we ask that everyone here help make this a safe space for people from all backgrounds, regardless of gender, race, religion or other. We will not tolerate threats, bigotry or hateful comments.

Reporting Inappropriate Behavior

While we always hope that everyone in our community will be welcoming, friendly to each other and follow the rules, from time-to-time, this might not be the case. If you see a post or a reply to a post that you feel violates our Community Guidelines, please report it to the Community Staff immediately.

🚩 You can report a post or comment by hovering over the three dots at the bottom, right of any post/comment > clicking “report” (as shown below).

🚩 After you click “report” a pop-up will appear that looks like the below screenshot. Here, you can describe in the “reason” text field why you are reporting the content + click “report” to submit (or “cancel” if this was an accident).

If you receive abusive language, threats or anything else unwelcome + that violates our Community Guidelines via DM (direct message) from another community member, please take a screenshot of this message and send it to any Community Staff member via DM. You can do this by using a host platform such as Imgur (this allows you to upload a picture/screenshot and then copy/paste the URL in a message).

Who’s Who in the Community

There is a team here at Calendly Community that is dedicated to taking care of, keeping an eye on and otherwise keeping the community running smoothly. You will see “community manager” next to their usernames, as well as a “Calendly C” branded logo on their avatars.

Personalizing Your Profile

Once you’ve joined the Community, you can personalize your profile by setting an avatar and choosing a username. Usernames are permanent, so pick one you’ll be happy with long-term. If you need to change it for any reason, contact a Community Manager or email support@calendly.com.

When selecting an avatar, keep in mind the community is publicly viewable. Avoid using images that include personal or sensitive information if privacy is a concern.

You can also adjust your notification settings and visibility preferences under your profile settings.

Keeping Your Information Safe

We take privacy seriously. Please avoid posting personally identifiable information (PII) such as email addresses, full names, phone numbers, or screenshots containing sensitive data. If you accidentally share PII, report your own post immediately with a brief explanation, and our team will address it as quickly as possible.
