mobile numbers

As a customer in UK why do I have to always search the UK flag to be able to enter my mobile number. Surely as a customer in a different country and identified as such in profile, that would be automatic?

Am I missing something?

Hi @Bernadette15168 - Thanks for reaching out.

Normally Calendly should be using your browser’s settings to identify your country/time-zone, ect. However some browser might block the necessary cookies to collect this information. I would make sure of two things first:

  1. What type of browser are you utilizing? Browsers like Brave offer more protection, but can block these types of cookies.
  2. Check to make sure your cookies are enabled on your account settings page here: https://calendly.com/app/personal/profile

Let me know if you run into any issues after that!

Hey, yeah that does sound a bit annoying tbh.

From what you’re saying, it feels like the system isn’t auto-detecting your country properly even though your profile already has UK set, so you keep having to manually pick the UK flag every time you enter your number… kinda defeats the purpose of saving profile info.

I faced something similar on another platform. In my case, it turned out the phone field was using its own default settings, not syncing with profile data. What worked for me was:

  • clearing cookies or trying another browser
  • double-checking region settings in account + device
  • sometimes logging out/in helped reset it

Are you seeing this on mobile too or just desktop?
