We advertise the link to our Calendly on another website (which we have no control over). When a person clicks on this link, certain query codes are attached to the link.

It would be extremely helpful if we could use this information to autofill the answers to some of our questions when the person is signing up for a time slot.

Thanks so much for sharing your use case — we really appreciate it!

While Calendly does support pre-populating answers to booking questions using URL parameters (like first_name=Jane or a1=example for custom questions), the query parameter names currently aren't customizable. This means if a third-party site appends parameters like ?source=xyz, there's no built-in way to map source to a Calendly field unless it matches the existing format (first_name, last_name, email, or a1, a2, etc. for custom questions).

That said, I’ve submitted your feature request to our Product team on your behalf. While we can’t guarantee if or when this functionality will be implemented, we take all customer feedback seriously and use it to guide future improvements to Calendly.

If you need help implementing hidden fields or working with pre-populated links in the meantime, feel free to reach out to our Support team. You can connect via live chat (blue chat bubble in the lower right when logged into a paid Calendly account) or email us at support@calendly.com — we’re happy to help!

Best,
