Overview
You can create a single-use link from any existing event type in Calendly to share one-time availability. The link expires after one successful booking, so it can’t be reused or forwarded to schedule additional meetings.
Step-by-Step Instructions
- Go to the Scheduling page: Open Calendly and navigate to Scheduling for your event types.
- (Optional) Switch user or team: Open the My Calendly dropdown to select another user or team before creating the link.
- Choose your event type: Find the event type to share and hover over it to reveal options.
- Create the link: Select Create single-use link.
- (Optional) Add contact and customize:
- For one-on-one event types: Personalize meeting name, contact information, duration, location, and availability.
- For group, round robin, and collective event types: Personalize contact information only.
- Save and copy: Select Save and copy link to add the link to your clipboard, then share it wherever you communicate.
- (Paid plans) Send by email from Calendly: Select Share to email the link via your connected Gmail or Outlook, customize the message, and optionally add a reminder if your invitee hasn’t scheduled in 1, 3, or 7 days.
Managing Single-Use Links
- Open Scheduling: Go to the Single-use links tab to view all generated links.
- Take actions as needed: Share, duplicate, edit, or delete any single-use link from this tab.
- Track bookings: Once an invitee schedules via a single-use link, the meeting appears on your Meetings page.
Key Notes & Limitations
- Single-use links expire after one successful booking and cannot be used again.
- One-on-one event types support customizing meeting name, contact info, duration, location, and availability before sharing.
- Group, round robin, and collective event types only support customizing contact information when creating the link.
- Users on paid plans can send links via email through Calendly with connected Gmail or Outlook and add automated reminders if the invitee hasn’t scheduled in 1, 3, or 7 days.
