Scenario / Question

My booking page doesn’t show availability (e.g., Monday at 2pm) even though I’ve updated my hours to include weekends. How do I fix this?

Overview

Availability can be blocked by multiple settings: external calendar events, your active schedule, or event-level scheduling settings. Use the Troubleshooting availability tool on your scheduling page first—it identifies the exact reason time slots are unavailable and points you to the fix. Then verify your calendar conflicts, schedule selection, and event settings.

Step-by-Step

  1. Run the Troubleshooting availability tool: Open your scheduling page and use the Troubleshooting availability option to see why specific days or times (like Saturdays) are blocked. The tool will label issues such as range, overlap, event, minimum notice, or duration and point you to the setting to adjust.

  2. Check your connected calendar for conflicts: Go to your Calendar Connection settings and review the calendars you check for conflicts. Remove or adjust any busy events on Saturdays, including all-day or repeating placeholders like Out of Office that can block the entire day.

  3. Confirm your weekly hours include the weekend: In your Calendly Availability schedules, make sure Saturday is selected under Weekly hours in the active schedule you use. Verify the correct schedule is Active and applied to the relevant event types.

  4. Verify event-level hours and calendar settings: Open the affected event type, then go to Scheduling Settings > Hours and calendar settings. Ensure Saturday is selected and save your changes.

  5. Adjust the booking date range if needed: If the Troubleshooting tool shows range, increase the date range in the event’s Scheduling Settings so invitees can book far enough into the future. Save and close.

  6. Resolve other common blockers flagged by the tool:
    • If you see overlap, move or remove overlapping events on your connected calendars or in other Calendly events.
    • If you see event, check that another Calendly event isn’t occupying the same time block.
    • If you see minimum notice, reduce the notice period so near-term slots become available.
    • If you see duration, ensure your available time blocks are at least as long as the event duration.

Key Notes & Limitations

  • All-day or repeating external calendar events will block availability for the entire day when those calendars are set to check for conflicts.
  • The active schedule must be applied to the specific event type for changes (like enabling Saturday) to take effect.
  • Event-level Hours and calendar settings can override your schedule; both must include Saturday for it to appear.
