Accessing Google Gemini Meeting Notes

I used Calendly to schedule a customer call with my google work calendar. I selected Google Meet as the meeting type from Calendly.

 

Once in the meeting, I had Google Gemini in the Google Meet start taking meeting notes. After the meeting I am unable to access the meeting notes. The meeting notes were not emailed to me, they are not in google drive and I have no way of accessing them. After much research, I am unable to find a way to get these meeting notes since Calendly set up the meeting. 

 

It is critical that I recover these meeting notes. Thank you!

Hi ​@IW03802 - Thanks for reaching out!

In this case, Calendly just handles the scheduling of the meeting, once the meeting is on your Calendar, Google/Google Meet will handle the rest! Since you had Gemini in the meeting taking notes, there are three places you can find the notes:

  • The document will be emailed to the meeting organizer and whoever started note-taking. 
  • If the meeting was scheduled with Google Calendar, the notes will also be attached to the meeting event
  • After the meeting, the notes will be saved as a Google Doc. 

However, after doing some digging myself, it does look like this is a recurring issue with Google Gemini where the meeting notes aren’t actually saved. It may be worth reaching out to Google support to see if they can track them down.
