Accidentally rescheduled a past and ran event! Can I undo?

While finishing a call with a client I made the mistake of rescheduling the event we were running right then. I was intending to reschedule the next booked event, as we had just agreed on a later date.

I have a request for support and new feature in relation to this.

Support request:
Is there any way that I can undo the rescheduling of that event? (I’m assuming I can’t create a past and taken event!)

I ask because now my records of number of sessions taken are incorrect, as the session taken this week appears to be in the future again, which effectively gives them a bonus session.

Feature Request:

When managing meetings in the Calendly web app, it will be clear that an event is in progress, so that a host/admin cannot accidentally reschedule a past and run event.

My ideas, FWIW :)

  1. Put a LIVE! or IN PROGRESS! label next to the current event, if it is to appear in the Upcoming tab after start time.
  2. Immediately move current events into the Past tab of Meetings page when the start time has past.

The journey I took to reschedule was Contacts > Contact Name > View all Meetings > Reschedule (I’ve included URLs with unique IDs removed).

I’m assuming that the in-progress event hadn’t moved into the Past events tab yet, and that’s how I made the mistake to reschedule that one (I was rescheduling the next meeting, so I expected it to be at the top of the Upcoming meetings list).

Hey @EmilyH - Thanks for reaching out and leaving this feedback!

Great news - one of your ideas is actually working on getting implemented! We’re releasing a new Meetings Page for all of our users, and with it, is a new In Progress notification to make sure you have more clarity into whats going on!

Take a sneak peak below!

In regards to your support request, right now, there is not a way to quickly undo a reschedule like that, especially if its currently in progress. But I’ll get this passed along to our product team to consider!

Let me know if you have any questions!
