I’m new to Calendly and find I feel some anxiety & resistance to providing my clients the ability to book live events onto my real calendar. My client events are all-day affairs, so once they book an event, it removes that day from availability for other clients.
I am aware of the ability to have their “event type” NOT mark my calendar as “busy”, but then that might cause another client to book the same date.
I’d be interested to hear if others have had this experience, and your thoughts & solutions.
I also have some concern re clients over-zealously reserving numerous dates (preemptively covering their potential future needs, and then cancelling later when they don’t need the date(s). I know this could be addressed with a Cancellation Policy, but I’ve never had that with my clients before, and am concerned of how that new change would be received by them.
