Several people have booked time with me this week through my “Personal” event. Since I do not use a calendar that syncs with Calendly, I manually adjust the time the calendar shows for those events not booked by Calendly.

Otherwise, I expect Calendly to block those slots that people have reserved thru it to prevent overbooking. This is not the case. For example: on SEP13 a meeting was booked at 10AM EDT for SEP 25. The attached screen cap shows that 10am is still showing as available. This is one of several instances.

Obviously this is problematic.

Hi @Cris80206 - Thanks for reaching out.

Definitely interesting that this is happening, would you be able to send me a screenshot of the event setup? The only two things I can think of happening are:

  1. This is a group event, allowing more than one user to book the same time
  2. You have free/busy rules setup, which allows the event to book over itself.

Let me know! I can take a closer look from there.

Hi David -

I am set-up for multiple attendees. I will disable that feature and see if that solves the problem.

Thanks.

Not sure this will help if I can’t set the number to 1. Suggestions?

Hey @Cris80206 - Thanks for reaching back out.

Since you’re using a Group Event, you would actually need to create a one-on-one event instead. This will make it so that only one person can book each time slot.

If you’ve already sent this link out to users, you’d just need to remove the URL from the Group event, then add it to the new one-on-one event that you’ll create. You can read more on this here: https://help.calendly.com/hc/en-us/articles/14078830319127-How-to-customize-your-scheduling-page-links

Let me know if you have any questions!

Thanks David. That did the trick. Much appreciated.
