Calendly rescheduled/canceled events don't update or delete Zoom meetings

Hi,

When using the Calendly-Zoom integration, I'm experiencing an issue where rescheduling or canceling a Calendly event does not properly sync with Zoom:

  • Rescheduling: When I reschedule an event in Calendly, a new Zoom meeting is created for the new time, but the original Zoom meeting remains active and is not deleted.
  • Cancellation: When I cancel an event in Calendly, the associated Zoom meeting is not canceled or deleted from my Zoom account.

Environment:

  • Calendly Teams
  • Native Calendly-Zoom integration

Hi @Serge - Thanks for reaching out.

If you haven’t already, can you try disconnecting your Zoom integration and connecting it again? Once its reconnected, try booking and cancelling a new meeting to see if the behavior persists.

If you still see some issues, I’d recommend reaching out to our support team on this, they’d be able to take a closer look at your account to see whats going on. You can either chat in or email support@calendly.com

Let me know if you have any questions!

I ran into this exact problem when Calendly events were rescheduled or canceled but the Zoom meetings stayed active. In my case, the root cause was the Zoom integration losing sync with Calendly after some permission or token change.

What helped was fully disconnecting the Zoom integration from Calendly and then reconnecting it, making sure all permissions were re-approved. After that, newly scheduled, rescheduled, and canceled events started updating Zoom correctly again. I also noticed this issue mostly affected meetings that were created before the integration was refreshed.

Another thing worth checking is whether multiple Zoom accounts or calendars are connected, as that can sometimes cause updates to apply inconsistently. Testing with a newly created event after reconnecting the integration helped confirm the fix.

Hopefully this helps others who are seeing Zoom meetings not update properly after rescheduling or cancellation.

I'm having this problem too, and it's recurring even after disconnecting zoom fully & resetting the integration.

Any suggestionsmuch appreciated?

eg

meeting booked for 29th Jan was updated by client via calendly to 5th Feb.

Noticed today that meeting link for 29th is still showing in zoom for tomorrow - the calendly & zoom bookings are also visible for 5th

Went into zoom to remove 29th (to avoid confusion ) & it's now removed everything - the outdated 29th meeting link in zoom, the 5th meeting in calendly and the associated zoom link for 5th.  So now my client received an incorrect cancellation for our meeting on 5th. Aarghh.

Driving me nuts.
