Calendly to manage bookings for a vacation rental home

Hi everyone,

I am using Calendly to manage bookings for a vacation rental home.

My goal is to only allow guests to book full weeks at a time. Specifically, I need the check-in and check-out to always be on a specific day (for example, from Saturday to Saturday).

Currently, I can only set the duration of the event up to 12 hours, but guests can still pick a start date like Tuesday, which would block the week awkwardly.

Is there a way to:

  1. Force the start date to be a specific weekday (e.g., only Saturdays)?
  2. Make sure the duration is fixed to exactly 7 days?

I would appreciate any tips or workarounds on how to achieve this!

Hi ​@Clôd31147 - Thanks for reaching out!

Right now, the only way to do this is if you set a specific day as available (e.g Saturday) This way that day is the only one that can be booked. 


Unfortunately, there is not a way to book a whole week at a time through Calendly, or set specific check-in & check-out dates.

But I’ll leave this thread open in case anyone has any ideas, tips or tricks! Let me know if you have any questions.

Although Calendly doesn’t allow multi-day bookings, you can still build this functionality by using the “Update Event Type Availability” API.

For example, if you are using Zapier you could setup the following automation:

1. Calendly event scheduled (trigger)
2. Update event availability to block exactly 7 days from the date of the event booking (action)

This would allow you to dynamically block the week regardless of whether the invitee books on Tuesday or Saturday.
