Many South African (and broader African) service providers face challenges using Calendly’s current payment integrations, as we are unable to create Stripe accounts and PayPal is not a viable option for many clients. Our local clients prefer to pay in South African Rands to avoid international transaction fees, currency conversion charges, and card declines.

It would be incredibly helpful if Calendly could integrate with African-friendly payment gateways like Paystack or Yoco to make the platform more accessible for the African market.

Hi @MumtazEbrahim - Thanks for reaching out!

Calendly recently expanded whats accepted with the Stripe Integration. We now support the following payment methods through Stripe:

  • Most major credit and debit cards
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Instant Bank payments (via Link)

When you connect Stripe, all of the payment methods listed above are turned on by default. To turn one off, go to your Stripe payment method settings, open the Calendly configuration, and manage the payment options from there.

I’ll forward your feedback over to our product team, maybe we’ll see additional added in the future!
