I was sent this link from a potential employer I met through LinkedIn - https://calendly.com/d/cnrs-2zzn-shr. I would like to know if this is a valid calendly address form. I am beginning to be concerned about the quality of the employer, even though the contact up to this point had all been professional.
Hi
That looks like the start of a one-off meeting URL (minus the meeting name at the end - something like ‘...r6q/one-off-meeting’), but that link you shared in its current format brings you to a 404 page since it’s incomplete. Basically, we can’t really tell much at all from that specific URL, especially since it’s a one-off meeting link.
I know legitimate employers are a huge concern these days, so I’d definitely do your due diligence before moving further in the process. These are things like making sure the person you’re talking to really works there, ensuring the company is real (look for reviews, articles, etc.), verifying contact information, etc. Just did a quick search and the top 2/3 of this article (before it turns into sales pitch) has a really thorough list of things to check.
Hope this helps and good luck!
