I had the wrong phone number for a contact and when i deleted it to re enter it said i already have a contact with that email…..how can i fix that

Just to confirm, if you look up that users email in the contacts page, do they still appear? If you were to log into an incognito window, or through a different browser, do they show as deleted?

You may just need to clear your browsers cache and cookies, then try recreating the contact. You can follow the steps here: https://its.uiowa.edu/services/how-clear-cache-and-cookies-your-web-browser

I tried that & it still says I can’t add the contact because the email is already used. Any other ideas?

Hi ​@Tara78564 - I think anything additional from here would require taking a look at the contact page itself - In this case, I’d recommend sending screenshots of this error over to our support team. This way, you don’t have to post personal info on the public form.
