Country Code

Question

I am trying to book time with someone, but the country code isn’t working. I’ve tried selecting US in the drop down and also typed +1. when I press Schedule Event, I get this response:

This phone number format is not recognized. Please check the country and number.

I go back to type +1 again, but as soon as I press Schedule Event it disappears and continues with the same error response. I have tried submitting via a mac, different browsers, and my iphone but no luck. Can anyone assist?

This is usually caused by extra characters or formatting in the phone field. Try entering the number without spaces, dashes, or parentheses (e.g. 15551234567 instead of +1 (555) 123-4567).If it still fails, clear the browser cache or try in a private/incognito window. If the issue persists across devices, it may be a Calendly-side bug—reach out to Calendly Support with the exact error and number format.
