Customer are having issues with phone country of origin

All of our appointments would be in the USA and the country code (flag) for the phone is not automatically going to the USA 1+ etc. It indicates to clients a phone formatting error, rather than asking each one of them to modify the country code is there a way to fix this formatting? Also, tried to book an appointment myself as a test and changed it then it automatically went to another country flag which then i had to change again.

Any update on when this will be fixed?  I am a brand new customer and can’t roll this out until it is fixed.  i know pre formatting is an option but too time consuming.  Can i take the phone number out as a required field?  Where can I see the fields that new appointments are requiring?  Thank you-

Update:  I changed the phone number question formatting to “one line” which eliminates the issue.  Will switch back to “phone number” format once fixed.
