Hi Calendly team,

Can we have the ability to customize the default “invitee first name/last name” field names on the booking forms?

I regularly schedule meetings with families to talk about their children, and parents aren’t sure if they should enter their own name or their child’s in that field.

Ideally, I’d like to have separate, clearly labeled fields for:

  • Mom’s first name/last name

  • Dad’s first name/last name

  • Athlete’s first name/last name

This would ensure I have the right contact details and avoid confusion at booking.

Thanks for considering this improvement—it would make a big difference for anyone booking on behalf of a child!

Best,
Ragu

Hi @Ragu, that is a good idea and a detail I will make sure our team sees when considering feature changes. I’ve marked this in our system and will return here with any updates. As a workaround I would suggest using Routing Forms to ask any customized question you like. That combined with an brief explanation in the event type description should clear up any confusion. I’m leaving a couple links below for more explanation.

Thanks for introducing me to routing forms - I just created one but realized I cannot customize the link URL. https://calendly.com/d/cwrj-7bc-ghs

Hi @Ragu - Thanks for getting back.

Yes, at this time you cannot customize the URL for the routing form. Some users will hyperlink it to their email, or embed it on their website as a workaround.

Let me know if you have any questions!
