Does notetaker work in Italian?

Hi everyone,
I’m considering using Calendly Notetaker for my professional calls, but I’d like to clarify one practical point.

Does Calendly Notetaker work properly with calls held in Italian?
I’m mainly referring to transcription, conversation summaries, and action items.

I’ve seen that some Calendly AI features seem to be mainly available in English, but I’d like to know if anyone has direct experience using it with Italian-speaking calls. Does it work reasonably well, or would it be better to use another tool?

I apologize for the delayed response! 

To answer your question directly: Notetaker does work with Italian-language calls but it creates a recap that gets translated to English. The good news is that a summary and action items come through but transcript quality isn't where we want it yet, and we're actively working to improve it.

For professional calls where transcription accuracy is critical, I'd recommend using another tool in parallel for now. But we're actively expanding language support and improving quality across the board, so I’ve raised this with the Product team for feedback on the importance of Italian when it comes to prioritization.
