In Event Type Scheduling Settings you can have a event daily limit (from what I understand this sets the maximum events allowed per day). I have this set to 1 event. If I am understanding correctly, that means if I already have an appointment on my calendar from this event type it shouldn’t allow another event of this type to be put on my calendar.

I am currently testing events to use this feature, but it is allowing me to schedule multiple appointments on the same day for the same event type. For example, I am scheduling Event A on Sept 8. I go back to schedule Event A as a different person and it is still allowing the person to schedule on Sept 8, even though Event A is already on my calendar for Sept 8 with a different client.

 

Is there a different setting to fix this?

That definitely sounds like unexpected behavior. It should be limiting that event as soon as one is booked.
