Hitting a roadblock and could use some help. We have a spa event which includes 3 event types to register for...botox, facials, and chair massages. All event operate during the same time period 11am-3pm. I need to set my calendar up so that people can register for each service but without blocking the time out for all day. In other words if someones picks 1pm for botox I still need 1pm available for facials and chair massage. Please help and THANK YOU!

Hi @Lauren33170 - Thanks for reaching out!

Yes this is doable! In this case, you will need to use our Overlapping Events feature that I go over in this article here:

In your case, you’ll need to create an event for each service like:

  • Botox
  • Facials
  • Chair Massage

From there, head over to the Free/Busy rules and set it so each meeting overlaps the other two, but not itself. This will allow you to operate each event during the same time period. In the end, it will look something like this:

So Botox will ignore Facials and Chair Massage.
Facials will ignore Botox and Chair Massage

So on and so forth! A little more complex, but let me know if you have any questions!

Hi David,

Ok...I did that and it was very helpful..thanks!

One more issue cropped up. The event is 11am-3pm There are four events built in.

Chair Massage with Amanda in 15 min. intervals

Facials with Megan in 30 min. intervals

Facials with Karissa in 30 min. intervals

Botox with Eric in 20 min. intervals

I have those intervals added but the calendars for Botox (20 min.) and Chair Massage (15. min.) are displaying only 30 min. selection intervals. Here is the link so you can see:

Many thanks for your help!

Hey @Lauren33170 - Thanks for getting back, glad to hear its working out!

Sounds like you might just need to adjust your start time increments, by default, they’re set to 30 minutes. I’ll add some instructions below:

How can I update my start time increments?

You can update the start time increments of an event type at any time by following these steps:

  1. Navigate to your event type’s settings page by clicking on the event type from your home page.
  2. Select More Options at the bottom of the editor.
  3. Select Booking Page Options, and the option will be here:

  4. Set your desired start time increment.
  5. Click Save Changes

Let me know if you have any questions!
