Hi,

I use Calendly to allow clients to book workshops on my website.

What I miss on Calendly and would be just great are Gift Vouchers.

Calendly, do you plan that ad in the (near) future :-)

Thank you.

Pascaline

Hi @Pascaline50783 - Thanks for reaching out!

Yes we have a new feature with our Stripe integration that will allow you to create discount codes for your events! We have a full announcement you can read here:

Coupon codes are a great beginning. And do you have any idea if “Gift vouchers” will be added in the future? Good for Christmas-, birthday presents etc, as I also organise and sell ceramic workshops. :-)

have a nice day,

Pascaline

Hi @Pascaline50783 - Could you tell me more about what you’re looking for?

With Coupon Codes, you will be able to discount the event 100%, so you could create codes for different events that work like gift vouchers!

Let me know if this works, or if there is something different that you’re expecting. :)

Hi David,

Thank you for you’re reply.

Gift vouchers aren’t quite the same.

If a costumer (A) wants to offer one of my workshops to a friend (B):

  1. A would select an event type
  2. A would pay it
  3. A’ d receive an email with a PDF Gift voucher, containing an one-time-use Code”
  4. A’ d send the voucher or print it and offer it to B.
  5. B would then create his account, book a date on the offered event-type, enter the Gift voucher code and proceed to booking by choosing a date. B wouldn’t have to pay anything.

For exemple:

( but with a code)

I hope it’s clear.

I’m Belgian, living in France. English isn’t my mother tong. 😇

Thanks a lot. 🌼

Hi @Pascaline50783 - This is a great idea!

I’ll get this passed along to our product team, hopefully we’ll see something like this in the future!

Hi David, please let me know once this feature will be rolled out! I’ve started my career consulting business about a year ago – using Calendly+Stripe/PayPal from day 1 – and have recently started to get a lot of requests for “gift certificate” from my clients who want to give my session as a present to their friends.

Was looking for this feature right now and came across your reply from 5 hours ago 😁

Thank you!

Thank you @Pascaline50783 for bringing this up! I have been looking for the same thing and trying to come up with a clever workaround. The manual creation of a unique coupon code workaround might be the method I move forward with. Any movement on this @David ? With the upcoming holidays, having a gift card/voucher option would be helpful.

Hi @StylebyLaysa - Thanks for reaching out!

We don’t have any direct gift cards/vouchers implemented now. But I’ve worked with some users who create 100% off coupon codes in Calendly and print those off to physical cards. From there, they can sell it to their clients directly either by giving them a card, or emailing them a code to use when booking.

I’ll continue sending feedback to our product team on this - hopefully we’ll see a more direct feature in the future!
