Question

How to compare events scheduled and respones metrics?

Hi,

We have a Calendly-powered form, and the number of responses is lower than the number of completed events (minus the cancelled ones). How could that happen? And what is the best metric to report on Calendly performance?

Thanks

Hi @Mo60774 - Thanks for reaching out.

Can you send me a screenshot of what you’re seeing? It will give me some more context into what we’re looking at here.

Let me know!

Hi @David

If I compare the Analytics metrics, mainly the completed events minus the cancellations (59) it is bigger than the number of answers (50) showing on the page, for the form routing in the same time frame. Hope it can help!

Hi @Mo60774 - Thanks for sending this all over!

Usually when we see this, it could mean that a host sent a link to book with someone directly, OR a case where a user cancelled accidentally, then rescheduled by reaching out directly. Although it may not have happened in this specific case, this is most often the case when we see a mismatch like this.

The best metric is by using the Analytics page, that is the best source of truth when gauging what has been scheduled/cancelled.

In this case, you could download the CSV file from both reports and manually filter for who got booked without using the routing form.

Let me know if you have any questions!
