Question

how to set a limit for max number of events per event per host for shared event types?

We have a shared event with multiple hosts. It’s possible to setup availability schedule per host. But it seems not possible to set max number of event per host. Limits and Buffers configuration is applicable per whole event type (not on the host level).

Example: shared event with 4 hosts. Limit set to max 1 event per day. If one event was scheduled with one host, it will be not possible to schedule this event on this day with the other hosts.

It would be nice to know wether you plan to have this functionality in the future.

Thank you!

Hi @Alexey83354 - Thanks for reaching out on this!

Yes this is a feature update our team is aware of and working on adding down the road. While I don’t have a timeline on that yet, we will be working on releasing more Global Meeting Limits that will allow your users to limit how often their booked across all of their event types through daily, weekly and event monthly limits. You should see this in the coming weeks.

I’ll get your feedback over to my team for more better limits with events for multiple hosts. Let me know if you have any questions!

Right now Calendly doesn’t let you set a per-host limit on shared events. You can cap events by day, week, or month for the whole event type, but it won’t split evenly across hosts. It’s a common request though, so hopefully they add it in the future!

Hi @Alexey83354, just an update here - this feature just launched. You can now set Host Meeting Limits to control how many total meetings you take across all event types. Your feedback helped us shape this update!
