Hi —

  • In my event description, I have include a hyperlink to a resource I’d like to share with the invitee.
  • When the invitee books the event, Calendly creates a Google meeting that includes a verbatim of the event description — but strips away the hyperlink to reveal a 200-character URL.
  • Anyone know a way around this without just removing the hyperlink altogether?

Hi @mizmazi - Thanks for reaching out!

Yes thats correct, at this time Calendly Calendar Invitations won’t include those hyperlinks and show it as you’ve described. However, you can keep the hyperlink in the event description, but you can remove it from the Calendar invitation by editing it from the event here:

Here you can remove the Event Description, and add in any other information you’d like so it displays better.

Just a heads up - I also removed the screenshot you shared as it contained some PII (Personal Identifiable Information), just making sure to keep your information safe. :)

Let me know if you have any questions!

Oh gosh, thanks for editing for me — and for the response! I spent a few hours and even tried to contact support yesterday. Thanks so much!
