Question

I want to enable clients to see my availability but not to book

For admin reasons I want certain clients to be able to see my availability online, but not book their own appointments, I want that done through me.
I know this has been raised before and the feedback is always ‘we’ll ask if it can be done’ and tbh it doesn’t sound that hard.
Does anyone know, is it any nearer actually happening?

Hi @Caroline26406,

It’s feedback we continue to pass along, but I’ll be frank and say it hasn’t gained much traction yet. The functionality is a bit at odds with what Calendly (make direct booking easy) was made to do, and therefore likely won’t become a high priority for quite some time.

Hey @Caroline26406 -

While this feature isn’t currently available with the default embed code, I wanted to let you know that Calendly Components (a tool that uses Calendly’s API to add features to the normal embed code) now has an availability only mode for the embed.

ty, that would work if it was an event embedded on my website but it’s a private link that I share with certain clients, so I don’t think it will work?

@Caroline26406 - this will also work even if you don’t embed the link on your site. In the “embed” section you can click on “Preview” and copy the URL instead of the embed code. You can then send this link to certain clients directly.

Well that created a link which didn’t correctly read my availability and had the wrong time zone! I will stick to the slow manual method! But thanks for keeping me in mind
