I’m using calendly to manage appointments in a community clinic, where there’s a different person working in each service every week. Our clients usually don’t care who is the provider in a given week, but sometimes there’s an issue with it, so we want to be able to include a note with the staff on site every week - but still have it managed in a single event type.
Is there an elegant way of doing this?

The simplest way to do this is to use a Round Robin event. Then link each of the providers calendar to the event by making them hosts or co-hosts. As long as their calendars reflect their time away from the clinic Calendly will auto assign them a meeting based on their availability. I’m leaving a few resources below.
