Is there a way to test the Stripe payment integration?

Hi- I set up the integration with my new Stripe account so that I can take payments for events. Is there a way to test that integration without doing an actual payment before I make this live on my website? Thanks

Hi ​@Jane B - Thanks for reaching out!

RIght now there is not a way to put the integration into a Test mode, however, users in similar situations usually set the payment to something like $1, and testing the booking themselves before changing it back.

I’ll pass this along as feedback, hopefully we’ll see something for this in the future!

@David Is there at least a way to generate confirmation and cancellation emails so that they can be checked for format etc.

Hi ​@Kaivi - There is not a test function with workflows, at this time we recommend users book an appointment with themselves to see how the emails appear. :)

Hi ​@David I am almost done with my Calendly setup and integration with Stripe.
I have only one outstanding issue which I am sure you will be able to help me with. 
When a customer enters their name (first, last) in the Calendly form after choosing a date for an event their name is passed to Stripe and is used on the Stripe receipt.  I need to stop  or edit this and it can only be done from Calendly where it originates.

Hi ​@David - If you can remove or show me how to remove ‘[Calendly] and ‘with’ and the customer’s name you will achieve legend status 😊

Ah got it, thanks for clarifying ​@Kaivi !

This is unfortunately something we cannot edit. However, it may be worth reaching out to Stripe Support to see if theres something on their end they can do!

I’ll get this passed along to our product team as feedback, hopefully we can see some improvements on this in the future!
